Ex-Michigan quarterback Jim Harbaugh draws praise for his attitude

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Former Michigan quarterback and current Stanford football coach Jim Harbaugh is expected to sign a contract extension soon. Stanford is ranked No. 17 and "all of a sudden, Mr. Harbaugh is the talk of college football - not just for the lengths he has taken the program but for how he has done it," The Wall Street Journal reports.

Harbaugh 1st year 4-8; Harbaugh 2nd year 5-7; Let me repeat that, he was 9-12 his first 2 years. Harbaugh 3rd year so far 7-3. Looks like the RR trajectory so far. Tomhagan, cut the drama will ya? You hate the guy, we get it, so go cheer for another team cause we dont need your attitude, not today out fo all days. Its pretty pathetic.

Jim Harbaugh's team has significantly and steadily improved since he set foot on "The Farm" soil. Don't forget that they were a 1 win team before he got there. This season, his team has steadily improved and is peaking right now...right when they SHOULD be. He has done this with student athletes, lower level recruits...and they play tough, physical and disciplined football. Rich Rod, on the other hand...has been a miserable failure at Michigan. His teams play loose, undisciplined football prone to consistent errors...his sideline coaching decisions are very questionable and his staff is constantly melting down on the sidelines. The team quits on him consistently and plays soft quite often. His record speaks for itself: Worst Coach in Michigan Football History. Dump the Koolaid. Make Jim Harbaugh an offer and bring Agressive (and Disciplined) Football Back to Town.

Harbaugh is demonstrating what could have happened at Michigan. But we know the rest of the story.

Love your enthusiasm and positivity Theo... but realists can only call it like it is unfortunately. BTW...Harbaugh is one Hell of a Coach and would turn this program around in 1-2 years easily.

Theo, your prediction, I'll take to the city dump. Your money, however, I'd take straight to the bank if you had the guts to put your money where your mouth is. Of course, we both know you've already scurried off into your little mouse hole after typing some utterly useless excuse for a poem, dotted by a prediction that, like all of yours which have come before it, will not come true.

The talk of college football still has a few games to play. Plus, I hear he yells at his players. We don't need that here!
