Football commitments, basketball exempt tournaments and a day before Thanksgiving

By Michael Rothstein

ORLANDO, Fla. - Greetings with a special Meandering, right from the 23rd floor of the Marriott World Center, where, it's needless to say, foggy. Very, very foggy.

Hopefully the weather is a bit better where you are at and that, if you're a Michigan fan, you're enjoying the commitment of Pennsylvania cornerback Cullen Christian this morning. The No. 88 player in the country picked the Wolverines last night.

While he'll give the Wolverines some defensive help, Michigan State is going through some problems of its own.

Glenn Winston, the running back who spent part of last off-season in jail, is off the team for an unspecified violation of team rules.

And happy early Thanksgiving.
