According to MLive.com, MSU starting running back Le'Veon Bell played just one series for the Green team and Larry Caper was injured on his only carry of the day.

Hill, who saw action on both teams in the annual Green vs. White game, scored on a 32-yard run for the White team, which won 14-2. He also had a hand in the scoring for the Green team, which earned a safety when William Gholston tackled Hill in the end zone.

Hill told reporters the performance enabled him to show coaches he could carry the load.

"I can play a full game, be an every-down back," Hill said.

Huron High School graduate Andrew Gleichert also contributed one catch for 20 yards for the White team.

It was a pleasure to know Nick here in Chelsea. He is an excellent man who will do a great job at State. It's also nice to see him at the running back position vs only punt returns. Thank you for this article ! D
