Mateen Cleaves, the point guard who led the Michigan State basketball team to the 2000 NCAA title, visited C.S. Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor on Wednesday.

He made the rounds and met patients and staff. An album of 33 photographs is posted on the hospital's Facebook page.

Cleaves noted his visit on his Twitter feed, noting, "I spent time at the Mott Children Hospital today. Makes you look at life in a different way. Just be thankful to wake up healthy everyday."
