Gabriel Richard football wins CHSL Prep Bowl

DETROIT -- Few high school football teams get the chance to play on Ford Field. Even fewer get to walk off the field a winner.
Gabriel Richard High School accomplished both feats, defeating Notre Dame Prep, 31-26, in the Catholic High School League's C-D Division Prep Bowl championship game Saturday afternoon in Detroit.
"I've won a couple league titles and things, but nothing like this," said Gabriel Richard coach Brian Lemons. "This is probably the best feeling I've had as a coach." (Rest of the story | Boxscore)

Brian Lemons is a great football coach and a good person. Richard is lucky to have him.He has a great backing not only from Richard but from the school he teaches at.GO IRISH!
