updated may 11: Collection of holes-in-one in Washtenaw County this golf season

Maria Lobbestael recorded her first hole-in-one on the par-3, 140-yard 12th hole at Pine View Golf Course on May 23. She used a 6 iron. The shot was witnessed by Bernice Bates and Pat Roach.

Malek Merhi used an 8 iron to ace the 135-yard 11th hole at Green Oaks Golf Course in Ypsilanti on May 10. This was the fourth hole-in-one for Merhi, who shot 80 for the round.

Diane Geherin recorded her first hole-in-one on the par 3 17th hole at Pine View Golf Course on May 3. She used a driver to reach the 125-yard elevated green during Huron Valley Women's Golf League play. The ace was witnessed by Carol Grimmette, Denise Landis and Winnie Schweiger.

Bill Anhut, 82, recorded his first hole-in-one on the 145-yard second hole at Rustic Glen Golf Course in Saline on May 1. Anhut used a 5 wood for the shot, which was witnessed by Dan Maloney and Phil Barnes. (Story)
