Laura Kueny shot a final-round 69 Wednesday to capture the Michigan PGA Women's Open at Crystal Mountain Resort by three strokes over Ashley Tait.

Kueny earned $5,500 for her 5-under-par total of 71-71-69--211. Former Eastern Michigan golfer Darby Peters finished tied for ninth place at 6-over.

Suzy Green-Roebuck of Ann Arbor tied for 15th at 9-over, former Michigan golfer Elaine Crosby was tied for 19th at 11-over.
