Former Eastern Michigan golfer Marty Jeppesen of Ypsilanti took a one-shot lead into today's action of the Golf Association of Michigan Championship at Barton Hills Country Club.

Jeppesen's rounds of 72-68-140 had him one stroke in front of Chris Cunningham of Milford. Aaron Peterson (73-71-144) of Ann Arbor, defending champion Casey Baker (75-70-145) and Mike Ignasiak (75-70-145) of Saline were among the leaders.
