Greenhills School junior-to-be Henry Do and his long-time instructor, Dave Kendall, each lead a division at the Michigan Tournament of Champions at Boyne Mountain.

Do is the low junior and Kendall is tied for the lead in the senior division at the 20th annual event, which matches men, women, juniors, seniors, professionals and amateurs against each other.

Andy Ruthkoski of Muskegon, a 28-year-old touring professional, has the overall tournament lead after shooting a 3-under par 69 Monday at The Alpine course.

Kendall and J.R. Roth are the low seniors at 1-under. Do is 1-over. The 54-hole tournament continues Tuesday with the top 70 players making the cut.

The equalizer for the diverse field is three sets of tees. The forward tees (5,905 yards) are used by all women and men age 70+. The middle tees (6,562 yards) are played by men 50+ and juniors with high school eligibility remaining. The back tees (6,938 yards) are used by all men 49 and under.
