Chelsea High School wrestlers Travis Ostrowski and Dakota Cooley, along with Milan's Sean Domas, are headed back to the MHSAA individual state wrestling championships as top seeds.

Those three champions lead a group of 10 Washtenaw County wrestlers that qualified for the March 4-6 finals at The Palace of Auburn Hills during Saturday's Division 2 regional tournament at Dexter High School.

It will be the second straight trip for Domas and Ostrowski and the fourth for Cooley.

“To take two champs, I’m happy with that,” said Chelsea coach Kerry Kargel. “Going to the state meet being seeded number one is hopefully an advantage for them.”

Domas won the 215-pound title with a 6-1 defeat of Ferndale’s Kody Krocker. It was Domas’ 61st win of the season and 179th of his career, both school records. (Rest of Story and Photo Gallery| State qualifiers)
