The 2010-11 MHSAA girls basketball season officially started on Monday and for Whitmore Lake High School, it looked a lot like the 2009-10 season never ended.

The Trojans - winless in their 20 games last year - picked up their first loss of the young season on Monday, falling to Father Gabriel Richard 57-18.

All 10 players on the Fighting Irish were able to log minutes in every single quarter of action and all 10 scored points, led by Sarah Falvey who had 11 points and five steals.
