The Lincoln High School girls basketball team is short as a whole, and only has 2 seniors on the roster. The Railsplitters could ill afford to lose any height or experience to injury against Temperance Bedford Tuesday night.

When Megan Marchildon went down with an ankle injury in the beginning of the third quarter, Lincoln lost half of its seniors and most of its post presence, allowing visiting Bedford to dominate the paint en route to a 41-23 victory.

"We've been a little perimeter oriented in practice and in our first game, so I like to get our bigs some touches, that certainly needs to be a strength for us," said Bedford coach Bill Ryan. (Rest of the story | Boxscore)
