Quick start fuels Chelsea hockey to 4-0 shutout over SEC rival Dexter

Sure, Chelsea High School's hockey team knew Dexter was fresh off a 5-1 win over Southeastern Conference Red leaders Saline, but they didn't dwell on it.

In fact, the Bulldogs scored three goals in the first period, adding a fourth in the third, and kept the Dreadnaughts out of the net all game for a 4-0 SEC victory Wednesday.

"It was important to control our lead in the SEC and that's what we're trying to do," said Chelsea coach Don Wright. "We kind of put our focus towards finishing the end of the year strong. It's a good win and an important win." (Rest of the Story | Boxscore)
