Chelsea High School diver Colby Wrathall placed third at the Division 3 regional diving meet Tuesday in Dewitt, punching his ticket to the state championships, held Friday and Saturday at Holland Aquatics Center.

Wrathall, a senior who scored 363.65 points, will be making his third straight appearance at the state meet.

"He dove well enough to get in and that was our goal," said Chelsea diving coach Eric Burris. "We are really looking forward to nailing all our dives on Friday."
