WOODHAVEN - Dexter High School wrestler Drew Barnes picked up his 100th career win on Saturday at the Woodhaven Invitational as Dexter placed seventh at the dual-meet tournament.

Barnes, a 152-pound junior, started the day with 98 wins and won his first two matches of the day to reach the milestone, defeating his Westland John Glenn opponent in a 47-18 Dexter loss for No. 99 and his 100th against Plymouth, a dual Dexter won on first tiebreaker criteria (match wins) after the teams tied 36-36.

Barnes lost against Dundee in a 77-4 Dexter loss, but won his last two matches on the day.

Steve Bleise (103) also went 4-1 for the Dreadnaughts. Dexter defeated Riverview, 63-12, in its last match of the day after falling to Woodhaven, 60-13.
