Greenhills soccer advances to state semifinals for third straight year

The Ann Arbor Greenhills boys soccer team is heading to the MHSAA Division 4 state semifinals for the third year in a row.

The Gryphons captured their third consecutive regional championship with a 3-1 victory over Lansing Christian at Greenhills School’s at Towsley Field on Saturday.

Lansing Christian struck first, just five minutes in the first half, but three unanswered goals in the half by Greenhills’ Al Braun, Matt Jong and Johnathan Lazarsfield proved to be the difference.
