McKenna Erkfritz's double-double leads Manchester; Pioneer girls hockey loses in overtime and more Monday results
The Britton-Deerfield girls basketball team was no match for McKenna Erkfritz and Manchester on Monday night. Erkfritz scored 27 points and grabbed 19 rebounds as Manchester blew out the Tories, 70-33.
Manchester nearly had enough points to last the entire game after a 26-7 first quarter. No other stanza had as large of a discrepancy as the first, but Manchester’s lead steadily grew to 42-21 at the half and 60-27 after three quarters.
In addition to Erkfritz, Amanda Davis and Taylor Manders scored in double-digits for the Dutchmen (10-7, 8-4 TCC) with 13 and 12 points, respectively. Cambria Handy led Britton-Deerfield with 17 points, while Anna Burnor had 12.
