High school roundup: Huron golf edges Saline on tie-breaker and more Wednesday results
This tie-breaker created another tie.
The Huron High School boys golf team used a fifth-card tie-breaker to beat Saline on Wednesday and give each team a share of the Southeastern Conference Red Division title.
Both teams scored 154 after four golfers. Huron’s fifth card score 43 (shot by both Reid McCallister and Jack Ottenwess) was one stroke better than Saline’s.
Both teams finished 10-1 in SEC dual match play. The champion will be determined at the SEC Championship next Wednesday.

"These are the two best teams in the division," Huron coach Dee Drake said. "We knew we had to have three scores in the 30s."
Saline also hard three scores in the 30s from Caleb Wittig (37), Ian Martin (38) and Ryan Peruski (39).
