Huron and Saginaw Arthur Hill Saturday matchup voted state's game of the week
The last time the Huron and Saginaw Arthur Hill boys basketball teams met on the court, a berth in the 2009 Class A state semifinals was on the line, with Huron winning 63-58 thriller.
Saturday, the teams will meet again and the rematch has been voted MLive.com's "Game of the Week."
In a weeklong ballot, the Huron vs. Arthur Hill game received 230 of 955 total votes -- 24.1 percent -- edging out 11 boys and girls games from across the state for the honor. Friday night's Flint Powers Catholic vs. Orchard Lake St. Mary's game was the next highest vote getter with 194 votes, 20.3 percent.
The team's will play at 5 p.m. on Saturday in the showcase game of the Roundball Classic holiday tournament at West Bloomfield High School.
