History has shown that when the Huron High School hockey team faces off with Temperance Bedford, fans are in for an old-fashioned shootout.

Such was the case again Wednesday night. And it was the River Rats who came out on top, claiming a 7-5 Southeastern Conference victory at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube.

"For some reason, when you get a Bedford-Huron game over the last three years that I've been around, it's always ended up being a high-scoring affair," said Huron coach Bill DeGroot.

"Down there, they beat us two years in a row in overtime, and up here we've been successful putting a number on them." (Rest of the Story & Photo Gallery | Boxscore)
