Ypsilanti ends season on high note with 36-14 win over Huron
The Ypsilanti High School football team ended its season on a high note, beating Ann Arbor Huron 36-14 on Friday at Huron's Riverbank Stadium.
Aaerion Allen completed 9-of-14 passes for 142 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Phoenix (4-5).
Brandon Jacobs (71 yards) and Austin Sanders (68 yards) led the ground game for an Ypsilanti offense that broke out of a mini-slump. The Phoenix had averaged 14.5 points over the past four games, three of them losses.
Ypsilanti outgained Huron 315-197.
