Milan backs into playoffs with second straight loss after blowing 18-0 lead
When preparing for the postseason, there are certain things you don't want to happen. For example: Lose your starting quarterback to injury...waste an 18-point lead against a two-win team...lose your last two regular-season games.
Well, the Milan High School football team pulled off that trifecta Friday night.
The Big Reds led South Lyon East 18-0 in the first half before falling to the Cougars, 22-18.
"Ending the season on two losses in a row isn't the greatest way to get ready for the playoffs, but we'll try," Milan coach Steve Robb said.
