League championship basketball games postponed due to weather; hockey playoffs still on
Updated at 4:30 p.m. to include that Lincoln has now postponed its varsity basketball game against Tecumseh.
We’ll have to wait another two days to find out if Pioneer and Huron can grab shares of the SEC Red boys basketball title.

Bedford is currently one game up in the standings on both Huron and Pioneer. A Huron win will give the River Rats a share of the league title. Pioneer needs to beat Saline coupled with a Huron win for a share of the title. The Pioneers handed Bedford its only league loss of the season last Tuesday.
Bedford's Jackson Lamb scored 33 points and had 10 rebounds against Pioneer last week and Bedford beat Huron 75-65 when the teams played on Feb. 1.
As of Tuesday afternoon, only one of the seven boys basketball games involving Washtenaw County teams were scheduled to go on as scheduled: Greenhills’ game at Arbor Preparatory Academy.
The Southeastern Conference has canceled all of its crossover games, originally scheduled for Thursday, and all of Tuesday’s cancellations have been postponed to Thursday: Pioneer at Saline, Monroe at Skyline, Temperance Bedford at Huron, Ypsilanti at Chelsea Dexter at Adrian and Tecumseh at Lincoln.
Four pre-regional boys ice hockey games scheduled for Tuesday will go on as scheduled: Huron will take on Pioneer at 5 p.m. at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube, and Skyline vs. Carleton Airport will follow. Father Gabriel Richard will take on Chelsea at the Arctic Coliseum at 5 p.m., followed by Dexter vs. Jackson Lumen Christi
