Saline, Chelsea and Milan all knocked out of districts
MONROE -- After dropping the first two sets, the Saline High School volleyball team clawed back to take game three.
But it would be the only set the Hornets would take away from Temperance Bedford, which ended Saline's season in 3-1 fashion Thursday in the Class A district semifinals at Monroe High School.
"Beford played well tonight," said Saline coach Lisa Shea, whose team fell in scores of 25-11, 25-15, 20-25, 25-19. "We had a great season, it's just hard to end it this way. I'm disappointed for the girls, I know how bad they wanted it."

"I'm proud of my seniors Andi Frailey, Natalie Folk, Maria Shimones and Cassie Castro," added Shea. "I have really enjoyed coaching them."
