Whitmore Lake boys, Gabriel Richard girls win conference basketball games; SEC bowling plays full slate and more Monday results
OTTAWA LAKE -- Colton Judge scored 16 of his game-high 33 points in the fourth quarter as the Whitmore Lake boys basketball team pulled away from Ottawa Lake Whiteford for a 99-88 win Monday night.
"He just kind of took over," Whitmore Lake coach Dave Arnold said, noting Judge hit back-to-back 3-point baskets on two different sequences to help the Trojans extend the narrow one-point lead (69-68) they held after three quarters.
The Trojans spread the floor with a little over two minutes remaining and clinched the Tri-County Conference win by making 7-of-9 shots from the free-throw line.
Judge finished with a school record nine 3-point baskets on the night. (Rest of the Story | Boxscore)
