Skyline already looking forward to next season after loss in district semifinal

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Skyline ended its season with a 3-0 loss to Brighton (25-17, 25-15, 25-12) in the semifinals of the Class A District tournament, but the Eagles have a lot of hope for the future of their volleyball program.

The Eagles' set a goal this year to have a .500 winning percentage, and they accomplished that with a record of 22-22-7. It is one of the more successful seasons of competition for the many new varsity teams at Skyline.

Understandably, Hinz is excited to see what her team can do next season when all her juniors turn into seniors.

"The good part for us is that no one is graduating. Everyone will be back," said Hinz. "You don't know what to expect, but it feels really good to know they'll be back, it's Pretty exciting looking forward."
