Skyline got goals from three different players, and held visiting Monroe to zero shots in a 3-0 victory in a girls soccer match on Tuesday.

With the win, Skyline, the AnnArbor.com Team of the Week, remains undefeated in the SEC Red at 10-0-1 and can secure the outright league crown with a win or a tie against Ann Arbor Huron on Thursday.

Margo Apostoleris, Alex Apostoleris and Shelby Wyatt all scored a goal to lead Skyline, and Cienna Rael-Whitsitt and Jessica Krueger combined to earn the shutout victory.

"It was tough going at first tonight, Monroe was committed to playing a defensive game, and they matched us well," Skyline coach Chris Morgan said. "It was one of those matches where you pack them in and hope for the best."

Morgan said that clinching the SEC Red title against Huron would be no easy task.

"Huron's a fast team with a strong defense, and they're going to be ready for us," Morgan said. "At the very least, it'll be a good test for us heading into district play."
