Peter Bakker-Arkema had 10 points and six rebounds for Skyline (7-7, 4-3 SEC Red), which outscored Saline (8-7, 1-6 SEC Red) 10-5 in the first quarter.

"(Peter) has started to do more recently," Skyline coach Mike Lovelace said. "Trying to be a complete player."

Saline's Reece Dils had 21 points.

Skyline shot 34 percent from the floor.

"We missed layups, other shots, never strung together a couple of baskets," Lovelace said.

Ypsilanti 63, Lincoln 30
Story | Boxscore

A shorthanded Ypsilanti team, led by Corey Allen’s second double-double of the season, snapped its first two-game losing streak into two years.

“We only have seven players, including two JV call ups, due to injury,” Ypsilanti coach Steve Brooks said. “The kids were focused to get back on track. The whole team brought it defensively, and it was important that we shut them down early.

Allen, a freshman, led Ypsilanti (11-4, 7-1 SEC White) with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Ypsilanti’s Jaylen Johnson added 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals, Janeau Joubert had 12 points and Lavonte Davis had six points, 11 rebounds and two blocks.

Tyler Hinton led Ypsilanti Lincoln (6-9, 3-5 SEC White) with eight points.

Milan (14-1, 10-0 Huron League) outrebounded Riverview 44-21 to earn its tenth-straight win.

"We've had some good games this year, but I felt this was the most complete defensive game," Milan coach Josh Tropea said. "We played really good half court for 32 minutes. When you get a lead, it's tough sometimes to stay focused."
