Senior Janae Sims led Skyline (5-4) with 18 points and Mea Morris had 10 in the Eagles win.
Victoria Norris had nine rebounds.
“Our defensive pressure is our strength,” Skyline coach Keith Wade said. “They came out and did a great job of forcing turnovers and getting transition baskets. This was our first game since Christmas, and we had a lot of people missing time recently with illness. We were able to use the whole bench tonight, which is important because we’re a passing team.”
Arielle Cargor led Lincoln (7-1) with 19 points, and Jaslynn Rollins had 11 rebounds and three steals.
Lincoln coach Mike Foley said Cargor is capable of scoring 30 points per game.
“If she tried play an individual game, she’s good enough to do that,” Foley said. “But she’d done a great job playing within our system, distributing the ball. She makes our team go.”
Jennifer Fichera led Pioneer (5-2) with 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists, and Brianna Worthing added 12 points.
With two starters out of action and a third in foul trouble for much of the game, Pioneer coach Crystal Westefield said it was difficult for her team to keep up with the speedy Rams.
"We pulled them out of their press early and pulled ahead at the end of first, but it was tough to keep that pace with just nine players," Westfield said. "We just didnt have the best game.
