Whitmore Lake volleyball sweeps Lincoln; Pioneer swimming squeezes past Skyline and more

Jessica Spiegelberg and Abby Koehler had 10 kills apiece, leading the Whitmore Lake High School volleyball team to a 3-0 nonconference sweep over Lincoln Thursday in Ypsilanti.

Whitmore Lake commanded the match in scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-17.

Myranda Owens led the Trojans (22-10-3, 7-4 Tri-County Conference) in assists with 15 and aces with five. Koehler added a team-high nine digs and Justine Spiegelberg had six kills.
