Saline golf trumps Pioneer, others at SEC Quad; Pioneer, Huron tennis dominates and more Wednesday results

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Saline High School girls golf coach Betsy French has been noticing a trend.

"Karla (Gross) and Shannon (Fraser) have been battling all season for the low score, which is great," said French of the two Saline seniors.

"I hope it's iron sharpening iron," she added.

Fraser shot a 40 and Gross a 42, leading the Hornets to a 170 team total in a Southeastern Conference quadrangular win over Pioneer (190), Chelsea (193) and Dexter (198) at Reddeman Farms Golf Club in Chelsea.
