Detroit Red Wings forward Justin Abdelkader rode with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels on Wednesday morning, and the elite crew flew out of Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti. AnnArbor.com photographer Angela J. Cesere captured the action.
The Blue Angels are at Willow Run for the Thunder Over Michigan air show at Willow Run on Saturday and Sunday.

Whether you like watching airplanes or not, the Blue Angels are a unique experience and something everyone can enjoy. The F-16 Viper East Demo is unforgetable as well.

So thats what that was. I saw them over Dexter doing barrel rolls and different maneuvers. I was working at a clients house out doors and the sound came out of no where and it scared the heck out of me for a second. lol
