The new stadium is gorgeous, the game was exciting and it was great to take my kid to see great soccer being played. But there was an organized university pep group that led cheers and whenever the Oakland U goalie kicked the ball they yelled something so vile that I cannot even write it here. Where is the sportsmanship? What are we teaching our kids? I was embarrassed every time they yelled and they yelled the same phrase over and over. It was an embarrassment to the university and Ann Arbor and I hope this practice stops.
