Katie Adams, Wolverines field hockey knock off No. 19 Albany in overtime

Michigan redshirt junior Katie Adams scored the first game-winning goal of her field hockey career on Saturday in a 4-3 win over the 19th ranked Albany in Ann Arbor on Saturday.

Michigan held a 2-0 lead early in the game and a 3-2 lead late, but Albany forced overtime after scoring with just 21 seconds left in regulation, paving the way for Adams' heroics.

Also having a career day for the Wolverines was Alicia Mayer who had six points with two goals and two assists. (Story at MGoBlue.com)
