Meandering through the maize (and blue): Is this the year the BCS bursts, Gilchrist's visit and defensive questions

Boise State is slowly, but surely, moving up the national polls and it means the Broncos, currently at No. 5 in two-thirds of the BCS formula, could end up at No. 2 if they are undefeated at the end of the season.

And Yahoo! columnist Dan Wetzel wonders what that could mean at the end of the season.
