Meandering through the maize (and blue): Rise of the freshman quarterback?

Freshmen quarterbacks became the story of the second weekend of the college football season.

Both USC and Michigan won big games against ranked opponents on end-game drives led by rookies. And the New York Times chronicled the rise of Matt Barkley and Tate Forcier.

FOOTBALL:
