Michigan baseball team to play at Wrigley Field

The University of Michigan baseball team will play Northwestern at Wrigley Field in Chicago this year the Northwestern University athletic department announced on Tuesday.

The Wolverines and Wildcats will play each other on Saturday, April 20 in the home of the Chicago Cubs. The game is part of a multi-year deal between Northwestern and the Cubs to showcase a wide range of Wildcats athletic programs at Wrigley in coming years, including baseball, lacrosse and five Wildcats football games.

The game against Northwestern is the second in a Major League ballpark for Michigan in the upcoming season. Michigan faces Yale at Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets, on Tuesday, March 26, at noon.
