Cornerback Donovan Warren and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint are among a handful of Michigan football players dealing with minor injuries in the second week of fall camp.

Warren, a projected starter, sprained his knee in practice Monday. He sat out Tuesday's morning workout, was expected to miss the second session and is listed as day-to-day, coach Rich Rodriguez said.

Toussaint, a freshman, has a fractured shoulder and could miss the rest of camp. If he does, he'll likely redshirt.

"We got a lot of backs, and if you miss three weeks of camp it does set you far (back), particularly as a freshman," Rodriguez said. "But if he comes back before the end of camp and he can learn quickly, he can get back in the mix."

Offensive lineman Ricky Barnum (ankle), defensive back Thomas Gordon (ankle), fullback Mark Moundros (foot) and cornerback Zac Johnson (throat) also are out with injuries.

"All those guys, with the exception of Fitz, we hope to be back in a few days," Rodriguez said. "Everybody else is practicing."
