Michigan field hockey tops UC-Davis; U-M, EMU women's soccer lose 1-0 games

Katie Adams and Bryn Bain scored second-half goals as the No. 12-ranked Michigan field hockey team beat visiting UC-Davis 2-0 at Ocker Field on Sunday.

The Wolverines outshot the Aggies 32-3 on Senior Day, with 22 of their shots coming from graduating seniors. (More coverage at MGoBlue.com)

WOMEN'S SOCCER Wisconsin 1, Michigan 0 (2OT): The Badgers' Alev Kelter scored in the 109th minute to snap the Wolverines' five-game unbeaten streak in Madison. There were 36 fouls and five yellow cards in the highly-physical game. Michigan is now 8-3-4 overall, 3-2-2 in the Big Ten. (More coverage at MGoBlue.com)

Toledo 1, Eastern Michigan 0: Kristen Lynn scored in the 14th minute and Toledo held off the Eagles the rest of the way, handing EMU (9-6-4, 6-1-3) its first Mid-American loss of the season. Toledo (14-2-2, 10-0) extended its winning streak to 11. (More coverage at EMUEagles.com)

MEN'S GOLF Bridgestone Intercollegiate: Junior Matt Thompson, senior Lion Kim and freshman Joey Garber finished 6-7-8 at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., leading Michigan to a fourth-place finish at the 14-team tournament. Michigan finished the tournament with a 21-under 843 team score, the third-lowest 54-hole score in school history. North Carolina was first with an 833. (More coverage at MGoBlue.com)
