Saline alum Alex Leptich wins first race as a Wolverine and more Saturday results
Michigan freshman and Saline High School alum Alex Leptich won her first ever college race on Saturday, winning the mile run at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational on Saturday at the U-M Indoor Track Building.
Leptich finished in a time of four minutes, 55.15 seconds, becoming the first Wolverines runner to break the five-minute barrier so far this season. Including Leptich, Michigan had four event wins on the day.
