Michigan men's tennis blanks Western Michigan; Eastern Michigan wrestling sweeps at Wendy's Duals and more
The Michigan men's tennis team made quick work of Western Michigan, shutting out the Broncos 7-0 in the Wolverines' dual-match opener Saturday night inside the U-M Varsity Tennis Center.
Michigan's No. 28-ranked doubles team, Jason Jung and Evan King, submitted the most convincing win with an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles. Jung and King also each won straight-set singles matches.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Toledo 72, Eastern Michigan 56: The Eagles shot just 33.9 percent from the field in a MAC West home loss to the Rockets. Tavelyn James and Cassie Schrock led EMU with 13 points apiece. (EMUEagles.com Story)
MEN'S BASKETBALL Concordia 87, Cornerstone 84 (OT): Austin Cook led the Cardinals (11-8) with 21 points. Concordia trailed by two points at halftime before closing the gap and forcing overtime, where Cardinals outscored Cornerstone 15-12 for the win.
