Michigan State suffered its third consecutive loss Tuesday night, and now the Spartans and Illinois are tied atop the Big Ten basketball standings, The Grand Rapids Press reports.


Michigan State fell at home to Purdue, 76-64. The Boilermakers shot 65.2 percent in the second half. Here's a look at coverage from the game:
