EAST LANSING -- The Michigan volleyball team was fended off by Michigan State in a 3-0 Big Ten loss Wednesday at the Breslin Center. The No. 19-ranked Wolverines managed just 36 kills while hitting 14 percent. The unranked Spartans racked up 14 blocks in their home win.

Alex Hunt led U-M with 11 kills. Lexi Zimmerman added 29 assists, 10 digs and seven kills.
