Michigan women's soccer tops Oakland, 3-1
Sophomore forward Nkem Ezurike scored two goals in the Michigan women’s soccer team’s 3-1 win over Oakland on Sunday at the U-M Soccer Stadium.
Ezurike opened the scoring in the fourth minute and made it 3-1 in the 23rd minute. She missed a chance at a hat trick when her penalty kick during a scoreless second half went wide left. (Boxscore)
Tori McCombs scored the other goal for the Wolverines (1-1) and Haley Kopmeyer made four saves in goal. Jessica Conrad scored for Oakland (0-2).
