Michael Rothstein and Dave Birkett discuss a suspension, Eastern Michigan at Michigan football matchup

News that Jonas Mouton was suspended for a game broke Friday afternoon, the day before the Wolverines take on Eastern Michigan.

AnnArbor.com staff writers Dave Birkett and Michael Rothstein discuss the Mouton suspension and what they think will happen when Michigan takes on EMU on Saturday at noon at Michigan Stadium, in their weekly pre-game video chat.

I feel lost since the Ann Arbor News went away. The sports writers for annarbor.com don't understand the culture of Michigan football. They are simply bloggers and not journalists. I think they must be new to Ann Arbor. The writing is elementary. The Michigan Daily provides much more in depth information. The sports coverage is superficial--no more "inside digging" by Jim Carty. You must have big time coverage for a big time team. Disappointed! You sports writers are novices and just cover the obvious.
