Nathan Karr, Pioneer boys cross country win at Portage Invitational

PORTAGE -- The Pioneer High School boys cross country claimed a team title and an individual championship at the largest cross country invitational in the state.

Senior Nathan Karr won the 41-team Division 1 race of Saturday's Portage Invitational in 15 minutes, 25 seconds and the Pioneers had five runners in the top 24 to cruise to a team title. (Boys Division 1 story | Boys Division 1 results)

MORE PORTAGE INVITATIONAL Girls Division 1: Saline's Alex Leptich is individual medalist, leading the Hornets to a fourth-place finish. Pioneer ninth, Huron 11th, Lincoln 38th. (Story | Results)
