New Illinois football staff could have Cardinals' shade

Ron Zook plans to add 3 former Louisville assistants to his staff at Illinois, according to ESPN.com's Adam Rittenberg.

Most notable is new offensive coordinator Paul Petrino, who recently held the same position at Arkansas, where his brother Bobby Petrino is coach.

Two other former Cardinals on board at Illinois include Greg Nord and Jeff Brohm.

Sean, A lot of our readers are not only interested in Michigan football, but news from around the Big Ten. I thought there'd be interest in the fact Illinois is re-tooling its offense with a group of coaches that's had considerable success together elsewhere.
