New Orleans Saints fans aren't done celebrating a Super Bowl victory. The food, music and celebrities surrounding tonight's 8:30 p.m. game (NBC) against the Minnesota Vikings is more than a season opener, Peter Finney of the Times-Picayune writes.
It's like the Super Bowl season isn't over yet, he writes, noting, "Folks, we're witnessing a period of non-stop, Category 5 euphoria."
More from Finney:
To me, it feels like the 20th game of the 2009 season, one that ended 16-3, with Sean Payton spending Super Bowl night sleeping with the Lombardi Trophy. Seems like it's been one long cocktail party since that February Sunday in Miami, a feeling telling me the biggest challenge facing the head coach will be sustaining a dream many felt was the impossible kind.
