No. 14 Michigan volleyball sweeps No. 12 Minnesota; EMU women's basketball rolls
A matchup of top 20 college volleyball teams at Cliff Keen Arena turned decidedly in the University of Michigan's favor Friday night.
The No. 14-ranked Wolverines swept No. 12 Minnesota 25-23, 25-14, 27-25 in their final regular season home match of the season.
According to MGoBlue.com, senior Juliana Paz made the most of Senior Night, finishing with a career-high 23 kills. Junior Lexi Zimmerman dished out 48 assists, while seniors Megan Bower and Sloane Donhoff added 19 digs apiece.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Eastern Michigan 77, Siena 55: Sophomore guard Tavelyn James tied a school record with eight 3-point baskets and finished with 32 points to lead the Eagles (3-0) to a victory in Loudenville, N.Y.
