Ohio State named Big Ten's top team -- Terrelle Pryor and Greg Jones players of the year
Big Ten media days haven't even started yet and already, the Players of the Year and top three teams are out.
Ohio State was voted the top team in the conference in the preseason, followed by Penn State and Michigan State.
The Buckeyes have won or shared four straight Big Ten titles.
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor was named the preseason offensive Player of the Year by the league after putting together a pass efficiency rating of 151.3 in league games last year.
Michigan State linebacker Greg Jones got preseason Big Ten defensive Player of the Year honors after making 127 tackles in 2008 and is on the preseason Lombardi and Lott lists.
Stay tuned for more.

The media voted for Pryor. I would like to know how many of the media saw him in person. Because he can not hit the broad side of a barn. He led the Big Ten in passing efficiency because he threw less than 13 times a game. He's an awful passer. He is 2 years behind Vince Young in the passing game. My vote would have gone to Juice Williams.

MetricSU you are just a typical U of M fan that is shut off to the rest of the conference and need to research before you run your mouth. A. MSU has two great options at QB (both sophomores) who any team not named Ohio State in the Big Ten would love to have the "to be named backup" of the two start for their squad. B. State returns 9 starters on D, led by the best anchor in the conference. In fact they might just have the best returning squad in the Big Ten.

Actually, MSU will not be any good this year. They will have no QB to speak of and the defense (like last year) will be very porous. Look for Michigan to win the Big 10 this year (yes, it will be a surprise to most). But, beginning in 2010, they will begin reeling off title after title, and that WON'T be a surprise! Go Blue!!!
